Sian grew up in mid-Wales and attended Llandrindod High School where she first discovered her passion for drama.
At 14, she joined Mid powys Youth Theatre. Her first production for MPYT was George Elliot’s ‘Silas Marner’, she also went onto enjoy roles in Brecht’s ‘The resistable rise of Arturio Ui’ and Arthur Miller’s ‘The Crucible’.
Before she continued her drama training, she spent a year studying and honing her equestrian skills, and competed in showjumping, cross-country and dressage. At 18, she enrolled on a performign arts course at Colleg Powys, studying drama, theatre in education, movement and choreography.
In 2003 Sian began a BA in Acting Studies at the Arden School of Theatre, Manchester, and graduated in 2006. She quickly found her first role as ‘India’ in Colin Carr’s ‘Divas & Double Glazing’ which was performed as part of Manchester’s 24/7 Theatre Festival. In December of the same year she was delighted to receive ‘Best Newcomer’ at the MEN Theatre Awards.
She is currently living in Manchester, after signing with HaT Management.
